- Bridging is a grassroots community-run nonprofit. We do not receive government subsidies; therefore 100% of our operating expense (rent, trucks, insurance, utilities, etc) is generated through community support. Agencies and clients are asked to pay a small amount for us to continue this service. The furniture fee constitutes less than 2% of Bridging’s annual budget.
