Furniture donations: What we need


CoronaVirus Update:

To ensure the safety of our staff and donors, we have limited our pickup service for donations.   If you have items to donate and we accept the items, the items will have to be outside the home.  We are picking up items primarily in Mesa and Scottsdale.

Since 2004, Bridging has provided clean, practical and useful furnishings to U.S. veterans, children and people with physical and mental disabilities.

It’s our responsibility to continue this good work for our community.

Please understand our limitations and take time to look over the list of items we can accept.

So, you can help our mission (and save yourself time) by donating only the items listed below in new or gently used condition.  Please, no peeling faux leather, stains, odors, pet hair or rips.

Fill out my online form.
Clean, unstained twin or full sets ONLY (mattress and box springs), subject to $15 sanitizing fee per set.
Standard steel bed frames
Chests of drawers or dressers.
Sofas or loveseats (no hide-a-beds).
Kitchen tables — and chairs.
Coffee or end tables.
Small bookcases, nightstands

We may be able to schedule a pick-up, and we’d like to talk with you (we like the personal touch).

Wondering where to donate items NOT on Bridging’s YES list?  There are many charities in the Valley of the Sun that accept more items.  You can locate many of them at DonationTown.org or simply by doing a Google search.
