Our Services
We serve families and individuals who are enrolled in social service programs that assist with domestic violence, homelessness, job training, life skills, mental illness, and poverty.
The Furniture Bank

Bridging provides a once in a lifetime shopping experience at our warehouse for clients that are qualified and represented by our partnering agencies. All clients are in a case-managed program with one of our 30 partnering agencies.

Families usually receive the following type items:

  • Loveseat/Sofa
  • Kitchen Table & Chairs
  • Dresser
  • Bed(s)
  • Lamp(s)
  • Artwork
  • Stuffed Animal(s)
  • Baby Blanket(s)

*Items subject to family size and availability

Bridging encourages clients to find items that work best for their family’s needs and taste. We provide the opportunity for families to choose their own furniture, building confidence through a sense of ownership.

This year, The Bridging Hope Chest distributed over 20,000 items including a truckload of new twin size beds from Sealy and over 600 office chairs.

"The children used to eat meals on the floor, but now we have a dining room table where we can all sit together."
