C) Chronic Life Threatening Disease: A person in need of service as a result of the effects of a chronic life threatening disease.

D) Employment and/or Job Training: Enrollment in a program offered by a government agency, the Department of Economic Security, or the sponsoring agency.

E) Learning Disabilities & Life Skills: Ranging from basic life skills training, to SMI (Severe Mental Illness), to those who need daily supervision and/or medication
Bridging AZ exists to provide essential furniture to families in our community who do not have resources to purchase basic furniture. Bridging is the first and only Furniture Bank in Arizona dedicated to “bridging the gap” from empty rooms to a comfortable home.

All families receiving furniture are qualified through a network of over 30 social service agencies. Families are enrolled in case-managed programs designed educate and break the cycle of poverty. Bridging creates a comfortable home environment; inspiring positive life changes for the families by ensuring children have beds to sleep in, kitchen tables to eat meals together as a family, and desks to do their homework at. This gives children a stronger foundation of safety, security, and family bonding.
